Nothing is like refreshing as having fresh flowers in our home to cheer up our mood. Flowers are similar to friends who forever make brighter up our mood. Flowers help to improve our health, mind and reduce our stress. Flowers are the gift of nature and god. It can be used also for Decoration.

A flower, sometimes known as a bloom or blossom, is the reproductive structure found in flowering plants (plants of the division Magnoliophyta, also called angiosperms). The biological function of a flower is to effect reproduction, usually by providing a mechanism for the union of sperm with eggs. Flowers may facilitate outcrossing (fusion of sperm and eggs from different individuals in a population) or allow selfing (fusion of sperm and egg from the same flower). Some flowers produce diaspores without fertilization (parthenocarpy). Flowers contain sporangia and are the site where gametophytes develop. Flowers give rise to fruit and seeds. Many flowers have evolved to be attractive to animals, so as to cause them to be vectors for the transfer of pollen.

IMO flowers never ever look as good as when they are left where Mother Earth placed them

Couldn't agree more, flowers have a natural beauty and don't need to be chopped and "arranged" to make them look better.

Thats true, flowers in the wild are more colorful. Where I live even some weeds have fantastic colors.

One of my favorite flowers is Stargazer lillies - oh, I just love how they smell! Had them in my wedding bouquet - many moons ago!

I love flowers in general. I enjoy going to the Philadelphia Flower Show that they put on each year. Also in Pennsylvania is Longwood Gardens - a beautiful place to visit several times a year. I'm planning to go this weekend for the Mum displays.

I was a bit bummed when I got to go to Amsterdam last March for work that it was too early to see all the tulips in bloom. That would've been a real sight to see!

What I love about flowers are their names. Seriously, they're so pretty.
I think my favourite type of flowers are daisies. They're so simple but so cute!

I love the wild violets that bloom in our yard in the spring. I know they are considered weeds, but not to me.

Snowdrops are my favourite flower ... first flower of Spring & so delicate, pretty & inspiring.
And then daffodils but the old fashioned ones with the big yellow, buttery flowers (the ones Wordsworth wrote about) not the anaemic ones you see too often these days.

In Utah every 2 or 3 years they have a bloom on the sagebrush that gives a gold color to the landscape. It looks really nice, but is putrid. It smells like open graves or a rendering plant. You can ooh and ahh over the spectacular view while holding your nose.

I agree. I told my husband long ago to not buy me flowers (lucky him!). I'd rather the money be used for something else. Like chocolate.
