O'Malley - husband's cat - named after O'Malley the alleycat in Aristocats
Tilly - my cat. Cute & petite, just like me! I liked the name.
Caramel - oldest daughter's cat. orange
Mocake - 2nd daughter's cat. Mocake used to be Snowflake, but our youngest daughter pronounced it Mocake. Most of the time we now just call her Mo. She's the sweetest and friendliest of our cats.
Cookie - My 6 yr. old daughter's cat. She's actually a male but looked too pretty to be a male, so we've always called her a she. She was a feral cat but is slowly coming around to us. After a few years she's finally letting us pet her.
Macy - our yellow lab. We adopted her from my brother when his wife died and he travels a lot for his job. She's an awesome dog and a huge blessing to our family.
We also have two chinese dwarf hamsters - we've had too many of these over the years, so they were never even named. Wouldn't be able to tell them apart anyway. Somehow, they were my daughters but I always get stuck taking care of them!
There are several levels of cuteness to this post. I give it 5 stars (1 for each cat/family member)

I had a dog named Taffy! Dumbest dog I ever owned. Is Nikita coming back, do you think?
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

Taffy is a pretty smart Chihuahua. My grandson named her. Digger is the dumb one, he dosent know enough to come in out of the rain. Literally. He lays on his back in a rainstorm. I doubt if Nikita is coming back, she's probably still making puppies in Ti Juana. But thats OK, Taffy and Digger are about all I can afford to feed anyway.

5 cats...3 mine, 2 my daughters

MINE:
Precious -- Calico
Goat -- Tuxedo, short for Goatee (he has one)
Tigger -- Tiger stripped/gray

DAUGHTER'S:
Santiago -- yellow
Dunbar -- pitch black

My Daughter moved back home in December and boy what a time it was getting these cats to somewhat get along and learn their pecking order! Many many fights and lots of fur flying! The last couple months have been calm other than the Daughter's cats DO NOT walk on the floor other than to get into the litter box or to eat/drink. We say they are playing "the floor is lava"...in reality though the floor is TIGGERVILLE, ruled by Tigger with his deputy Goat, and no new cats are allowed to trespass! Precious is the the overseer since she's always on my desk right where she belongs! We sure do love our fur babies though and I'd have it no other way!

Two black cats:
Kitsune (kit): Japanese for fox. Known for protection, devotion and wisdom. We waited to get to know her before naming her.
Yahtzee: when we found her she was a stray sleeping in a Yahtzee box.

Two foxes:
Xena: after the warrior princess.
She-ra: my nine year old neighbor named her for me after I gave her a she-ra DVD for her birthday.
Also a warrior princess..

One black lab dog:
Beaver: husband adopted him for me last christmas because he was frightened of everything and it reminded him of me haha. Named him beaver because every other name we tried made him either puke or pee....

Too bad, you coulda maybe made a profit off her puppies.

I've gotta add two, thanks to Pippa...Bip (baby boy) and Jeep (goofy girl).
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

I suppose I could breed her to another white Chihuahua she was a 500 dollar dog but I only paid 250 for her, the guy needed fast money to get out of jail.

My first dog is a yellow lab, she is beautiful. Her name is Tasha. Not sure why that name was chosen but it just seemed to fit. As with my smooth coat fox terrier/beagle mix. I called him skippy. He loves to dig and cuddle while reading.

I've added and subtracted. Had to get rid of the sweet cavy-piggies 'cause of allergies, so no more Pip, Flip, Bip, and Jeep.
I'm back to rats. Boys, this time. Buster Eatin' (Buster boy, Buster bar), Bite Ranger ('cause the Arkoffs recorded their last album on old Night Ranger tapes--Ranger danger, remote eater), and Huddie Fedbetter (Fedbelly, Hoodlum). My babies!
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.
