Couldn't agree more, flowers have a natural beauty and don't need to be chopped and "arranged" to make them look better.Fran wrote:IMO flowers never ever look as good as when they are left where Mother Earth placed them

I love flowers in general. I enjoy going to the Philadelphia Flower Show that they put on each year. Also in Pennsylvania is Longwood Gardens - a beautiful place to visit several times a year. I'm planning to go this weekend for the Mum displays.
I was a bit bummed when I got to go to Amsterdam last March for work that it was too early to see all the tulips in bloom. That would've been a real sight to see!

I read somewhere that ... "Weeds are flowers growing in the wrong place"

I think my favourite type of flowers are daisies. They're so simple but so cute!

And then daffodils but the old fashioned ones with the big yellow, buttery flowers (the ones Wordsworth wrote about) not the anaemic ones you see too often these days.

I agree. I told my husband long ago to not buy me flowers (lucky him!). I'd rather the money be used for something else. Like chocolate.Fran wrote:IMO flowers never ever look as good as when they are left where Mother Earth placed them
