I am going to add this to my want to read shelf. I read poetry but not in a romance novel.

I don't know why I am not drawn to books that have more than one story in them. I might try this one out due to your detailed and engaging review, though. Thank you!

A story about love of different people and situations is something I always enjoy reading regardless of the turnout at the end. I am looking forward to digging into this book and know how love affected and changed the lives of the different characters.

This book sounds like an interesting mix. I don’t read a lot of romance or poetry, but I’ll look into it and check it out.

I find it very interesting that this book is both a novel and a collection of short stories in a single volume.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

I like how creative the author was that he had a singular story line in the first part of the novel and eight mini stories in the second part of the novel. Despite the mentioned correction to the pace of the beginning of the novel, I was happy to notice that you did not get confused when the novel switched perspectives. I am eager to read more from this author and I am glad that the first book that I was introduced to was one about love.

The themes about love and chasing one’s dreams are right up my alley. Coupled with exquisite writing, I think I might like this book.

The sample pages give an other-worldly feeling. It’s beautiful, but I can’t follow it well, so I think I’ll pass. Thanks for your take on this one.

Irreversible incidents and developing love stories make that much more of an impact when an author is able to describe them with poetic rhetoric. It sounds like this author was able to do just that. ♥️

I love how the reviewer detailed the good and bad of the book. I like the book structure too, but I'm not feeling a love story (or 9 of them in this case). Thanks for the review.
