From a sampling, this is an interesting historical fiction that will challenge the reader to think and contemplate. It is worth a second look if you are looking for something different. Well done.

Despite the detailed and insightful review, I think I am going to skip reading this one. It is not the kind of book I think I would enjoy. Nevertheless, thanks for the terrific review.

I was originally going to pass on this book as the title is a little misleading. However, I did see it was a historical fiction. After reading your review, I am now curious as a cat. I have added it to my shelves to check out soon.

The cover art of the book includes having the title arranged into a cross, which I think is a bit trite. The use of the color black seems to contrast the yellow hue of the text. Congratulations to the author for BOTD, and thanks to the reviewer for crafting this wonderful review.

The timeline leaps sound very Dr. Who-ish. I always have difficulty keeping his relationship with River straight because of it. It sounds like this author managed to make the leaps at least somewhat clear. I find the concept of the plot interesting. I may just read this one. Thanks for the recommendation!

On reading the title, I thought it would be a religious book set but I would've never thought that it's actually science fiction with so much to cover! Congratulations on the review and well done !! This seems to be quite an interesting read!

The cover is what i was going by to being a good book. However, I was wrong , this is not a book I’d like to read . Although the review was great and very thourough- aliens and historical fiction doesn’t interest me . Congrats on the BOTD.

A nice thought provoking book "Save the Last Bullet for God" by JT Alblood depicts the reality of world from a different perspective, but it cannot change my faith in my God. The creative talent of the author could be appreciated by reading the intriguing facts in this book. Hope to read this book soon.

I have not come across such a unique plot line, which shows just how creative authors are increasingly becoming. Thank you for the review.

I definitely don't enjoy blood and gore in my literature, so I will be passing on this one, though it sounds like a real trip. Thanks for the interesting review.
