Not quite yet Bighuey, they will need to try harder to keep me down. Im not on here as much for a fair few reasons most of them run of the mill life-related plus Im not reading as much these days, still love the community here though, I always found Maud a bit touch and go as well, she would turn up, go mad posting, then disappear again, Im sure she has her reasons as well.

Seems we have also seen less of Laci as well, although I havent been on as much so I dont know? One poster i did miss was Swing, she was really quirky and funny and seemed to be really into her books then literally one day she didnt post anymore, I hope she is well wherever she is. :D

I can understand that. Most people have families and work and I suppose that keeps them busy. I dont work, and my family is scattered all over two countries so I dont have much else to do but fool around on this computer. Altho lately I havent read a whole lot, Ive been busy with different things.

I ate too much tonight. I made a concoction of refried beans and chorizo, onions, peppers, tomatoes, celantro, cheese and had some left over string beans and topped it off with a big slice of watermelon. I am so stuffed I can hardly waddle.

Very sad to hear of the death of astronomer & broadcaster Sir Patrick Moore ... I always loved his absolute infectious enthusaism for his subject & his ability to make complex astrological and natural world phenomena understandable to the ordinary mortal

Thanks for the memories Sir Patrick, may you Rest in Peace & hopefully you now have the answers to many a perplexing question - Rest Easy :(

I so love cilantro! (We call it coriander over here.)

I had the pleasure of meeting Sir Patrick once, at a drinks party after one of his lectures. He was exactly the way you would imagine from his broadcasts. Very affable and charismatic. They don't make them like that any Moore! RIP, dear old chap.

Sir Patrick sounds like quite a guy. Im not familiar with him, but sorry about his death.

Cilantro is good on just about anything. I mix it with tomatoes and onions, it makes a great taco sauce. I especially like to chop it up and put it on eggs.

What a terrible Christmas for the people in Newtown Connecticut. School shooting supposedly 26 dead including 18 children. There are certainly a lot of mixed up people in the US. It is so so sad.

That news is just so terrible. It makes you feel ill, just to imagine the horror experienced by those poor families when they heard the news.

What's going on in the world ? What's up with these individuals?
Just can't come to terms with the magnitude of what's happened over there yet again.
Terrible, absolutely terrible.

It makes one wonder what is going through those whacko's heads. Maybe tighter gun laws would stop some of it.
