This #BOTD features several interesting thoughts about shelter dogs and how they can enrich people's lives. Great review, I particularly like that you pointed out how dogs are creature's of habit.

Looks like Bear got a good and loving family. I'd love to explore Bear's experience with Mr. Porter's family, which is why I will read the book. I'm sure children will enjoy reading the book and learn something from the story. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

:techie-reference: Quite an intriguing storyline. I am not a dog person but sure have seen stories on dogs and the bond between their owners. Going to read it. Great review.

Thank you for the great review. Dogs can be pretty fun when things change. I'm sure anyone who loves animals, especially dogs, would love this story. I had a friend who had a dog named Bear many years ago. I liked your suggestion for more artwork for the children and sure I would like the pictures.

This story sounds adorable and perfect for children. I think I would also enjoy this, as I love dogs. It's great the author is teaching about adopting from a shelter. I think that's important. Thank you for your honest review.

This sounds like an absolutely delightful book for children or dog lovers. I like that it can also educate kids about rescue dogs. Lovely review.

I have never read non-fiction books for children. This one sounds interesting to those kids who like dogs since it seems to describe Bear's life in a simple manner. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

I wish I had a perimeter wall so that I could buy a puppy for my kids. It's something that will really cheer them up. Love the book and kudos to the author. Amazing story! 👏

A story centered on an exuberant dog is quite unusual. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on this. Great review.
