Children will love this book. I think the addition of the photos is a plus too. I hope the errors in the book are corrected though. Thanks for the great review.

Its a good book you can share to your children that will also teach them to love animals at the young age. I like how creative this is making it appear like a scrap book. Great review!

I too, love dogs! This sounds like such a cute book. I was sad that there were no pages to read or view in the sample, but you’re amazing detailed review told me all about the book. I wish I had grandchildren to read it to. Great jib!

A Spiritual Dog: "Bear" by J. Wesley Porter is a children's book on a dog that the author adopted years ago. I love books with pictures, specially non-fiction becomes more interesting with photos. Congrats on #BOTD.

A Spiritual Dog: "Bear" by J. Wesley Porter sounds good. I have never read a non-fiction children's book. So, I'm curious to find out how the book is. Congratulations.

Thanks for the review. On my part, I would pick a cat over a dog anytime. That is why I will not be reading this book. Congrats on being the BOTD though.

It would be interesting to read about a dog that thrives on positive attention and affection, and to have a feel of the kinda relationship the author and his children had with the dog.

I had dogs for many years of my life; the most recent one that I had was PTS in October of 2020. Kids will love this book, especially if they like dogs. Congrats to the author on BOTD! :)

I'm sorry about the flat writing style and other errors that you had to endure while reading this book. Thanks for the review.

A nonfiction children's book is not something I imagined existed. I would definitely love to read about a rescue dog. Nice review!

A children's story with a positive spin on adopting an animal from a shelter. It's also good how it describes the dog aging, as this is something children find unexpected.

Unfortunately, there were a few spelling mistakes and incorrect tenses used but I think this book would be great for children to learn how to care for their pets. It also teaches kindness to animals through their dad adopting Bear. I commend the author for sharing his family photos, that would be helpful to the kids reading.
