Tonight I will ring in the New Year with family & friends & raise a few glasses to absent loved ones.

Isn't it funny how quickly the novelty of holidays wears off? ... ah well, one more day & then back on the old work treadmill againStephenKingman wrote:Today is the last day I can be the slothful creature I have morphed into the past 2 weeks- chocolate for breakfast, TV until 3am and rarely venturing out, I think I need my routine back before brain power is affected.

"Window Treatment." The effect or look is Victorian(IMO). The design is Lapstrake, which was popular in New England
about 100 years ago. It was used in the construction of boats(longitudinal planks lapped each other) as well as the
perimeter walls of houses. My design overlaps the windows by 24" , 12" on either side. So the effect is to reduce the
horizontal dimension ofthe windows by 24". This makes them appear to be taller , which is what I wanted. All I
have to do now is paint them and install them. I'm real happy with them.

is a promise I made to my wife that I wouldn't put dung beetles in places that would embarass her if she discovered
them while she was recounting the things that your husband does that you think should be added to the list of
crimes to which the death penalty may be applied. As I drove by the Dung Beetle Store on my way to my Aerobics
Class Available To Anyone Obsessed With The Negativity Attached to Dung Beetle Ownership, I turned up the volume
on a CD I purchased two days ago that my Aerobics instructor has recommended as a more socially acceptable alternative. As I sang along to Barbra's rendition of Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered Am I, I realized I had
sent The Dungs packing. My problem now was how I was going to hide my new found love of Barbra from my bowling
team which had voted overwhelming to call ourselves "People Who Hate People Are The Luckiest People in The World"
Ach du liebe.
