Some people prefer planning before taking action. I tried doing that, but some fortuitous events prevent me from achieving my goals, and I get frustrated eventually.
I am one of those spontaneous people who just want to go with the flow because I waste too much time thinking about the best strategy for something but end up not doing them.
For me, it takes willpower to get things done according to plan.
Also, I read about some "successful" people who just happened by chance, by sheer luck. They are rare cases that don't follow any "recipes" to success.

While I agree with the fact that a strategy ensures we are headed the right way. I think for us to follow that way, will power is essential. In short, it takes will power to start a strategy in other to change.Mwatu wrote: ↑10 May 2021, 01:34 I do agree with the author. A strategy ensures we are headed in the right direction and when willpower subsides, it reminds us of the end goal and how our actions now feed into what we are working towards. I feel willpower is volatile. Especially since good things take time and relying on willpower alone is likely to get us not far.
