Nook Color and I love it. I use it quite a bit, but also still love the feel of books.

I currently have a Nook Tablet. I love it. My favorite part is at night I can change the back ground to black and the font to white, dim the screen, and read in bed with the lights out. No need to get up to turn the lights off when I fall asleep!

I started withthe original Nook. I liked it, but I highly suggest the tablet. It allows me to read, check my email, and surf the web.

I have a Nook color. I have had it for about 2 years. I love reading it every day. In fact, I gave away my paper back books and put my favorites on the Nook.

I actually have the Nook first edition and the Nook Color.
I was one of those people who heard that Barnes and Noble was coming out with an e-reader, some odd years ago, and pre-ordered it by three months. I waited three months to get it, and it was worth every moment waiting for it to get there. I loved it. I carried it around with me every where I went. Until that one fateful day when I noticed that sleek silver-grey Nook Color staring back at me with the same stars swirling around it as the Nook first edition had at one time. I was smitten instantly, though unable to instantly buy the e-reader of my dreams.
I saved my hard earned cash, so very little that it was, and months later; It was mine! Now, I go no where without, and my Nook first edition sits on a book shelf, a testament to its time. Growing a thin layer of dust, that occasionally gets dusted off, but knowing that it is truly loved and forever cherished.
That, and the Nook Color has a 'otter-box' case, that's absolute perfect for my children. Saves the lovely item every time. Best thing I've ever bought for no reason. XD

I started out with the First Edition Nook, and loved everything about it. The only flaw I found was that you really couldn't have more than about 250 ebooks on your Nook without creating problems with downloading. I learned how to archive some books, and that solved the problem. I have since passed my First Edition on to my daughter, and now I have a Nook Color. Love it. Did I hear something about, they are not making any new Nooks? Devastated.

I have the Nook Color which I really enjoy. I like that you can change the brightness of the screen for whatever light you are in.

I have Nook Color and love it. Full touch screen. Short battery life however. I have had it re-set at Barnes twice; the first time it kept restarting itself without fully booting up, the second time I dropped it in the bathtub. I grabbed it instantly, took it out of the cover, let it dry completely, but then it started doing strange things. Barnes reset it and it has worked ever since.

I found the above parts of your post very very interesting. My views are--

1. How do you manager home schooling of kids? They are of different age group and demanding different things?

2. Keeping a balance between technology and tradition is well acceptable but in case of paper books we are destroying the nature. To save it, we must go for e book readers and e books.

I also love my Nook tablet - I went with Nook over Kindle because I don't really like proprietary software :)

I have the Nook Color now and it's okay. It has some bugs in it that I find pretty annoying but I deal with them due to all the ebooks I have through B&N. I originally had a Nook 1st Edition and I loved it. I replaced it almost a year ago and the only reason I went with the Nook Color is because I thought that it would be nice to download children's books for my son that were colorful. I would have gone with the simple touch but it was so much smaller than my 1st edition and some of the features had been removed.
