I can not relate to any of the themes in this novel. I also am not a fan of romantic novels. Thank you for sharing though. The review is excellently written.

Thanks for the informative review. The novel sounds like one I'd immensely enjoy, more so because it touches on historical events. Congrats on being the BOTD.

I am a sucker for romance books and this sounds like a great romance book. With summer fling and rekindled love. I'd definitely like to read this.

It's been a long since I last read a romance novel. But I have been craving for something like this. Thanks for the review. I'm surely going to read this book.

I love the colours on the cover! It certainly sounds like a really lovely romance, and I like how the author chooses to explore certain instinctual psychological tendencies each person has. Emotional trauma is not easy to overcome, and it sounds like the author did a great job at portraying it. Thanks for the review.

this reminds me of every Filipino or Latin American telenovela, which the stories are influenced by family if not revolving around the characters's families. I think Cassidy and Sean's characters are also like the ones from every Nicholas Sparks's books. This for sure is a good book.

I instantly realised what i missed in reading a novel is , the euphoric feelings the story contains which make my insides curl up. I think its obvious from your review that the story has hints of a summer romance along with anxiety and heartbreaks. The prologue of the story already was something which made me want to continue reading it through out the day. This review is a very needed thing for me.

Pretty good review. You made the book sound interesting and intriguing. However, your review was confusing when you said, “ She spends the summer of 2001 falling in love and getting to know Sean’s grandpa before law school pulls her away.” This makes it seem as if she falls in love with Sean’s grandfather. Despite this small issue, your review was very good; I just noticed this issue and wanted to point it out. Thanks for the review!

To be young and in love. To be in love today and be broken tomorrow. To be broken and be healed by love and forgiveness. Great review. I hope to read this book soon. Thanks!
