I am always interested in a gentle romance novel with all the mentioned features - romance, heartbreak, separation, reuniting, etc and this book sounds like a perfect summer read for me. Thank you for your enlightening review and recommendation.

There a lot to learn from life, sometimes we keep ourselves in the pass, hoping to make a change on that but at the end we do nothing. Stirring at closed doors is the heartbreaking moment anyone who wish to be happy has to avoid, nice review, I really love romantic books.

I'm not really into romance novels but this seems interesting. There are a lot of details that were explored, most of them mysterious or something that I've never read before.

I like the aspect of an old fashioned love story mixed with the raw emotions of grief and fear. It sounds suspenseful and true to life at the same time. Your thorough review certainly makes anyone want to pick up the book and settle in for an enjoyable evening of good reading, well done!

I wholeheartedly agree. Emotional trauma can stick with us like an invisible cloud of restrictive fog. 🌫 I found several portions of this story to be quite relatable. I greatly appreciate your honest feedback and comment!

A very interesting review. It is so true that we remember the gloomy moments of our life more than the bright ones. A touching story. Eager to read it. Congratulations on BOTD.

I can relate to Cassidy's character. I really wish to know how she broke through. Great romance novel here.

I like the idea of assigning each chapter to a particular character, it really gives the book a good structure! Good job!

Well, I went through the whole sample.
Though a bit interesting read, I was not very much impressed (nothing new about such a romantic endeavour).
The main character jumping from Sean to Emma and back seemed without a smooth flow and immediate. Was a bit difficult to understand who was saying what

Love will always be love, but the way we fall in love sometimes is a real scare. I'm left thirsty for an indepth account of the love, secrets and suspense. Sounds like something I'd kill for (pun intended).

Sounds emotional and touching. I'm not a big fan of romantic stories, but I'm sure many readers will find it enjoyable.
