It's a book that is mainly based on political conflict, but still very nicely presented the characters and full of action pack! Great review! I personally don't like political thrillers, but anybody who likes it will surely enjoy it alot.

Books with several characters make it difficult to keep track of their names. I still like the plot. Great review.

This sounds like an action-packed political thriller with many believable and relatable characters. Set in post-soviet union Ksordia-Akhtaria, I am sure most readers will find it gripping and learn something too. Thanks for the thorough review!

I am not a fan of political thrillers. This one sounds a bit heavy for me so I think I will give it a pass. The protagonist seems like he has a heavy burden on his shoulders. Thanks for the review.

Nice review! A story of war, action, and political literature. From the sample, I already could see that indeed, it is a story of action and suspense. I am certain I would be swayed by the humanity of the characters as described in the review. And of course, the heroism behind and despite that humanity. Oh! Aside from the politics, I hope I would see a little background in the culture of the country as well as the tribes involved. I hope also the inclusion of political, cultural, and historical events as background would be factual. Nice!

This sounds like an intriguing, tension-filled plot. A lot of characters can be a problem, but some authors can pull it off. Still, I’d rather read the first book before this one, so I’ll just keep this one in mind until I have time to read both. Thank you for the helpful review.
