scare me?

Post by plaidsafetypin »

hello everyone, im new here! [just registered moments ago]

i am looking for a really good book.
i usually enjoy biographies or true crime, but i enjoy a fiction book here & there.
I'm looking for a jaw dropping, thrilling, can't put it down book.
Something maybe in the Horror Genre. Something that will make me want to keep the lights on when i go to bed.

Any suggestions?

thanks.

The scariest book I've ever read was the Shining by Stephen King.

I had read it at age 12 and it kept me up at night. I re-read it as a teen and it wasn't so scary, but still, the plot is disturbing.

Ok, I'm really late to this conversation, but have your tried "Suffer the Children" by John Saul? All kinds of creepy!

I agree with the Shining. Stephen King has some others that are good. It is pretty creepy along with Insomnia. Also, some of his short story collections are up there like Four Past Midnight
