There seems to be a lot of secrets around Rion’s life and I’m looking forward to digging into this book to know them and find out the gifts he possesses and how he is going to use them to survive in this suspenseful novel.

Today's BOTD isn't the one for me, but I think many of my HS students will enjoy it! This genre is a favorite among students, and the added element of adventure makes it even more appealing. I plan to add this title to our classroom book recommendation board! Thank you so much! :-)

The #BOTD has an element of suspense with all the action infused with clairvoyance. It will definitely prove to be a great YA story. Great review!

This YA sci-fi seems to address the idea of living to your full potential no matter what hidden talents each person has. I have added this book to my reading list. Great review!

This YA sci-fi seems to be an intriguing story, indeed. And I usually enjoy fiction involving special abilities. I also identified myself with the character in his solitude.
I agree with you about the fact it needs another round of proofreading, even with minor errors, the ideal would be offering the best experience possible.

Apparently it is worth reading. The diversity in the portrayal of the other characters who make them memorable is the most intriguing point, I think. I feel the main character in this book is akin to me. I'm leery of making friends too because experience really teaches us about consideration to make friends. I think this book is related to me. This is a nice review though.

'Official Review: The Fourth Kinetic' by Brandy Moore is an honest and critical account of the Young Adult story of a black teenager endowed with telekinetic abilities! It demonstrates the in-depth knowledge of the reviewer about the story! Also, it enables the readers to read the story with perspective! I find the review inspiring and thought-provoking! Nice to learn that the characters of the story are memorable in their own rights!

This genre of book is one that interests me. I do fear that the lack of character development that was mentioned may cause me to give the book a lower rating, but I will definitely give it a chance. The reviewer did an excellent job giving a well rounded description that makes it easy for readers to decide whether or not to take the plunge and read it.

This book could do better when Moore took time to move from one scene to another and give other characters more roles to play in the story. I appreciate the diversity and choosing a POC character as the lead. Props to Moore. It may a trope when the hero is a socially awkward one and then overcomes it as he faces some obstacles, but I hope Moore brought awareness to social anxiety disorder.

The discovery of telekinetic powers has always been an intriguing theme. I enjoyed your description of the characters and the intrigue about these powerful characters feeling powerless. I'm curious about the mother's involvement! Thanks for the recommendation.

Your insight into the lack of character development/agency for the secondary characters is informative - it's exciting that the main character's attitude grew and shifted during the story though. Thank you for your excellent review!
