There is no option to give as gift on my amazon book page

At least the button isn't where the guide says it should be. Maybe this is because my book is up for free right now?

If this is the case, would it be possible to just post the link to the book page instead since it is free there anyway?

i had this problem. I'm guessing you are outside north america? for some reason, known only to the idiots at Amazon, you can't gift a book if you live outside the states! It's a ridiculous situation. You can try and register on the american site, but you have to use different login details, and a different credit/debit card arrangement, otherwise they will link back to the site you are already signed with, Just as stupid is any customer reviews in one country (in my case UK) aren't shown on American site, which in a global economy and for a supposedly global company, is stupendous. this extends to all aspects of their site, including the self publishing side of things. Anyway - rant over. If the above doesn't work for you, you will have to e-mail Scott (I think it's mail at onlinebookclub - or whatever email address your registration confirmation mail came from) and he can sort a workaround.

Yes, exactly.
