Bullying is often a terrible experience for the person being bullied, and sadly, it is prevalent in schools as well as different facets of life. Even adults experience bullying in one way or the other. I'd like to read how the author addresses this and how one can help kids overcome bullies. Thanks for your review. It's concise and well laid out.

Bullying is a problem that most kids face. Henry's struggles will help them realize that there will always be someone wanting to play with your weakness, but you have to stand up for yourself and stay strong. Thanks for the great review.

As someone who was bullied myself, I wish a book like this existed back then. It's so important for parents to realise that bullying cannot be excused away as "kids being kids" because, as you mentioned in this review, bullies and their victims often have problems that are even more serious, which absolutely require adult intervention.

Bullying and intimidation is a menace that's killing the young minds and they really needs to be helped. That's why I commend the author for addressing this issue as early as possible.

This is one of those books that should be present in every kid's classroom's bookshelf. I liked that you somewhat empathized with bullies because even though they do horrible things they're still kids and we don't exactly know where they are coming from. And then some are victims of domestic abuse.

I love little Jenny already; she is brave and is not scared to stand up for Henry at all. I think she will inspire children to stand up for themselves more. Thanks for the review! :tiphat:

I’m normally wary when a character says another character is a character in their story—that usually spells potential villain. Here, though, it sounds as though Jenny really helps Henry out and gives him the tools to become a hero to himself and the other bullied kids at the school, maybe even to the bullies themselves. Thank you for the helpful review.

Bullying has been a problem for probably hundreds of years. Having been the smallest boy in my class throughout elementary school I can attest to first-hand experience. When I finally grew, I was no longer a target for bullying and I have to say that I did not just take the bullying, I did fight back. This book is great for young children and based on the official review I highly recommend it. Good review.

The book is an easy and enjoyable read for children. The subject matter of bullying is not only a thorny issue but common both in schools and among peers. The need to plug up courage to eliminate evil is a valuable lesson. It has the effect of liberating not only oneself but others as well.
Thanks for the great review.

I have never read a book with such a great concept. It not only raises an important issue but represents it in the light in a really fun and authentic manner.
