The last book I read is Cloth by Elizabeth Anderson. I rated the book a three out of four stars. The book was beautifully written. It tells the history of a Scottish family in the time of industrialization. You should have a look at it.

The Mosaic In Her Eyes by wowsabs ( it's on Wattpad ) I'd give it three out of four stars . Very interesting storyline , I finished it in a day though it had around 70 000 words. Only problem was there was a number of grammatical errors. It tells the story of a blind graduate student who falls in love , and how he deals with all the hurt and anger he holds against himself and the world.

I've read Bel Canto by Ann Patchett. I liked that it remind me the compassion and doubts I had when I first heard about the news of the embassy's hostages liberation here on Peru. Compassion I couldn't find with anyone on my country at the moment whenever I commented about it. But since this is a book of fiction, truely, it was hard not to notice the melodramatics turns of the Opera's theme the author was trying to convey. A little too much, maybe, but all in all a good book. 4/5

I just finished The Advocate by Randy Singer. Singer creates a character, Theophilus, a lawyer who stood behind Pilate to advise him to offer up Jesus Christ to be crucified; later is he charged with mounting a defense that will keep Paul from execution. I am not usually interested in religious stories, but this book was fantastic! It is fictional but has a solid basis in historical facts. I LOVED IT!

The last book I read was The Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I would rate it 4.5/5. I did not expect to like it as much as I did, as I had found the book on insta and they are usually in my experience overhyped but this one is worth the read.
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?

I've read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer. It was fun to read and although it could be the same good book without the last romance, it brought me a smile to read the letters of this eccentric group of people. Totally recommend it. 5/5

I love that book! I was crushed when I looked up the authors to find out what else they had written, Shaffer had passed away and this is the only book as far as I know, Shaffer and Barrrows have written together. I love all the literary references and the humour. It balanced the sad parts really well. Thank you for that memory :)

I know! It was such a disappointment to know she only could write one book and barely. She needed Barrows to finish for her. Life sometimes isn't fair.
But the good side is we are least have this one book and it's excellent!

Book 96. I've read Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke. This was my friend' suggestion and, I believe, his pleading way to ask me to read more poetry per year. I'm sorry to say that although this is a marvelous book and it gave me a lot of understanding and new point of views whenever I interpret poetry, it made me do a full circle and by the end I remained on my opinion on the subject, poetry is very personal and particular to the poet and their circumstances, sometimes hermetic even. Interpretation is always difficult and we fail most of the time. So I'll keep reading poetry, of course, but only after much convincing. Good side is Rilke knows how to convince you. 4/5
