I love Dumas' writing style and humor. The cameraderie between the Musketeers is fantastic. The plot is brilliant as well. A must read for all
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

I like the sequels but this particular one is the most interesting of them all.

Easily one of the best-written classics of all time. I have seen the movie, but the book is better

Well the three friends bring out the role of unity to solve societal problems. Their invisibility and abrupt appearance in the nick of time to solve a conflict is well calculated.The movie itself am familiar with but the book not yet read.

I've been reading adventure through out the past 10 years from different languages but this has been my favorite so far.

I read this book five years ago for the first time, and since then I've read it two times more. I love the feeling it gives me each time I read it. I must say: I'm a sucker for anything French especially historical fiction. What I love most about the three musketeers is that although they are close friends, they respect each other's decision and they lead independent lives.

This book made me want to be a Musketeer. I love it when classic leaves an impact on a child.

It may sound surprising to hear that I've not read this book. However, I've seen a movie related to it.

When I was a child, I watched a cartoon called Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds. I loved that series, among many others. When I found out that Dogtanian was based on a book, I was excited, and years later I got that book... There were no dogs, it didn't look like the cartoon... It was a good book, I admit, but it wasn't what I expected. Anyway, I do recommend reading The Three Musketeers.
