I love books with psychological aspects, and I'm particularly interested in seeing Jonas and Victoria's relationship after they reconnect. I also love suspense novels, so I'll be checking this one out. Thank you for the wonderful review!

I like family dramas, and I wonder what's wrong with Melinda and how something apparently manageable got so out of hand. I also love it when authors surprise us with characters that appear nondescript or even unlikeable at the beginning but that evolve along with the plot. It seems like a surprisingly well-executed debut novel.
Thank you for your great review!

Romance, psychology, and suspense are enough to keep me glued to a book. The review is written beautifully, giving details of every aspect yet not giving any spoilers. After reading the sample, I realized Jeffrey Deitz seems a great writer, and, as the reviewer mentioned it's hard to believe it’s his first book. I’ll read this book as soon as I can.

Today’s BOTD sounds like an enjoyable read. I like that the author writes straightforwardly such that everything is easy to understand. However, I’m not a fan of this genre. Otherwise congrats on the BOTD!

A psychological family drama "Intensive Therapy" by Jeffrey Deitz, which follows Victoria Schoen and her older child, Melinda, who suffers from psychological issues and needs a therapist. I think this story is nice to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

When I saw the title "Intensive Therapy," I was like, nope, a book about therapy, not my cup of tea. But from your review, I can see that the author used characters to form a storyline and weave therapy and medical stuff into it. So, I guess I'll give this a shot. Thanks for the straightforward and honest review!

I really enjoy suspenseful, thrilling plots. I also love that romance has been incorporated and that there is a lot of science. Congratulations on book of the day!

The review is great and we realize that feelings that develop from frequent contact can be hidden in the deeper unconscious and strive for expression once the opportunity arises...Jonas at the beginning was a psychiatrist-in-training and meets with Victoria though feelings develop between them circumstances force them to part but the feelings they had are revealed once they meet when Jonas is now a psychiatrist doctor and Victoria married but facing mental issues with the daughter.
The author being a psychiatrist takes us to a world of possibilities in their daily encounters...to explore the unconscious and it's effect on our lives. He gives solution through Dr. Jonas and Victoria on how to solve conflicts relating to fear and guilt.

I like that the author Jeffery Deitz has created a very skillful, intelligent and direct plot that seems quite natural. I like that the situations in which the author discussed medical issues, as is the case with Jonas Speller, are described in a simplified way.
