What I most enjoyed about this book were the consistent themes of forgiveness and trust. Lilly was challenged by both, which was understandable considering what she had experienced in life, but her struggles also made her more relatable. It was when she stepped out of her comfort zone and reached out to help others, that she started healing both emotionally and spiritually, which I also found to be true to life.

I can completely understand that someone who's struggled with abuse for such a long time has a problem forgiving and trusting. I don't know if helping others is the solution for everyone, but it makes sense with this being Christian fiction.
I like romance and suspense, but I don't know if I would read a book that doesn't tie up all the loose ends. Thank you for your honest review.

Lilly is a person stalked by death and sold into misery! At least her abuser gets his just desserts. I admire her ability to get back up after being knocked down severally, but I don’t see this as a book I would be motivated to read.

This book is story of a widow who finally found love or did she? Can she learn to trust again after being betrayed, abandoned, and abused? Interesting book and a good book review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

This sounds like a nice, easygoing book that would be best suited to readers who have a religious background. Lily sounds like a very endearing and well-developed character. Thanks for the review today.

"Lilly Of The Mountains" by D. L. Yoder. A young widow, having been abandoned, betrayed and rejected. The death of her Father and mother was so unbearable for her. She was free and ready to start up a new life after the death of her husband which his only ambition was for the money. Congrats on BOTD.

To learn from characters who take love as a pattern in their lives instead of hate is one of the best things that the world should learn, thanks to the author for spreading love through a novel that we live in its events and become friends with its characters

Lilly Perkins has experienced a lot of lost in her life. The question is, can she learn to trust again after being betrayed, abandoned and abused. I would like to add this book to my bookshelves. It teaches a lot about life challenges and how to cope with them. Nice review!
