Book 13: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. Sugary romance, incoherent narrative, three characters interacting during the 90 % of the whole book, mind you not even likeable ones, and a story full of stereotypes. This is how a book gains the lower rating in my perspective. 1/5

One of the last books I read is "Atlas shrugged" by Ayn Rand. A heavy book in every sense, but very interesting and stimulating in its philosophical point of view and dystopic imagination of a future America. My rating is 4/5

Children of Violence by Luke Gherardi was my last read. I rated it a cool 3 out of 4 stars. It's full of twists and dark humor. However, I disliked the themes of gun violence, drugs and prostitution.

Identity and Violence, by Amartya Sen. It was a good read, talks about some fundamental issues challenging South Asia as well as the world, but India in particular. I'd give it a 3.75 out of 5.

I just finished Wandering Feelings. The message was fantastic but I only gave it 2 of 4 stars on the review due to errors. It was my first review on here so hoping it was good.

Book 14: The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough. I really like stories set on generational family characters. It's amazing how the experiences and tribulations of a person can be passed on the next generation even unconsciously and it changes and mold the view of the youngers towards the world and how they interact with people. And it's extraordinary when just one person finds the courage and motivation to break the circle too. It's a little long so I don't recommend it to anyone without a lot of time, but it's totally worthy. 4/5

The last book that I've read is "Must Love Books by Shauna Robinson" It is a story about a woman who likes books so she found a job in a publishing company. A lot of years passed but she is still stuck in her position without being promoted but she does a lot of work. When something happened in a company, she experienced a pay reduction of 15% even though the original one is quite lacking still. This started her problem and her attempt on having two jobs in the rival companies.

My rating for this book is 3/5 because for me the main character does not resonate to me right. She decides things that are quite suspicious and she is very undecided even though she is old. I think the second time that she felt used in the company that she worked for, she should start finding a replacement for it rather than staying in one place and not moving forward.

Book 15: Delirium by Lauren Oliver. I hated this book so much I want to found the author and burn a copy on her face. The way the story depicts people without romantic feelings or sexual desires as clinical subjects of brain surgery by dystopian governments thus becoming so pathetic that don't appreciate being alive, makes me truly wonder if the author has ever meet an asexual person in her whole life. We don't exist in her world and finding one would be such a shock I would pay to see how her brain explodes. Anyway, don't read this crap. Worst book of the year so far. 1/5

The Book of Rumi: 105 Stories and Fables that Illumine, Delight, and Inform by Rumi
I rate it 4/4. It's hard not to give a full rating to Rumi's book.

"Death's End" by Liu Cixin. I rate it 4 out of 4, best sci-fi series I've ever read, and I was absolutely blown away by the scope of the author's imagination and the nuance of his storytelling. I saw some criticism regarding the series, saying that the characterisation fell flat; I somewhat agree, but I think the characters were still somewhat developed and, at the cost of having mind-blowing hard sci-fi, this flaw is forgivable, at least to me.

Book 16: Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Didn't found out it was a Christian novel till I begun to read it. I have this sometimes awful policy where I always finish what I read, maybe I'm a little masochist, but along the years it has gave me more pleasant surprises than mistakes so I stood with it while I read. Sadly, Christian novels have always the same conclusions were every problem it's resolved by the faith on God and I tend to scape from this books like the plague if I notice in time. This was not the case this time, however, and I did read almost 500 pages about a troubled soul searching for God's help being an skeptical atheist aromantic who couldn't care less about it all. But still respect those who find it enlightened, I guess (my aromantic side is judging them very hard, though). 3/5
