I would say that my favorite character is Victoria. I was instructed from an early age to be careful of the genuine hero in a book, with the capability being that the hero is the one who changes the most within the limits of the story.

I love Sarah because of her attitude towards knowing about her culture though being a young girl.

Its quite difficult for me to choose between Sarah and Myra but I'll go for Sarah because of her bravery and cultural ideas.

My favorite character is Jared. Despite all the bullying, he didn't quit, and he became a better person physically and mentally. The author did a great job showing his improvement as the story progressed. The evidence is at the end of the book when Jared made a moral decision, risking his life.

It's kind of hard to pick between Sarah and Myra. But I love both as these were brave, determined and passionate. Their stubbornness intrigues me.

My pick is straightforward, Victoria b cause she delves deep within herself, contemplating her values and goals until she finally throws caution to the wind and stands up for what she truly believes in: the truth and her own personal integrity.

Sarah was my favorite, because she held onto her beliefs in spite of others doubting her, and she was very strong willed. When she knew she was right, she stood her ground no matter what. Though young, events happened to make her mature fast with great insight. She was a true leader.
