I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel. It had the right balance for me. There was a refreshing amount of suspense throughout the book. I like that there wasn’t an overload of information based on the historical period and slave trade. My favorite character was Brandy. Brandy was used to the ways of the pirates and the aggressive temper of her Ireland roots. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars

I would rate this book four out of four stars. I'm a fan of historical fiction and this seems to be a cut above the rest. It is filled with romance and mystery and I think it was incredibly well written too. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading historical fiction with romance in it

This book is very interesting. The story is about an orphan who fought for her destiny and the freedom of members of her community. I found the plot to be engrossing and inspiring. I really liked Brandy's character. She is a round character. I could easily relate with her. However, I disliked some characters in the novel. They were not well-developed. A good example of such character is Zhang Yang. He writing style is descriptive, precise, concise and enjoyable. This book is fundamentally a historical fiction. However, there are elements of romance, crime and thriller in the story. The cover is an accurate description of the plot. I enjoyed the book so I definitely recommend it to other people.

The part of this book that caught my interest is the part that talked about slavery and ways to abolish it. The author's writing style was simple yet amazing. There was no part of this book that I disliked. I specifically recommend it to lovers of books that addresses Slavery because it will appeal more to them.

Brandy, Ballad of a Pirate Princess is a historical fiction on pirates. I like the plot of the book. I enjoyed it while reading. Brandy is the character I liked most. I admired her ability to survive despite losing her parents so early in life. I know that the book is about pirates who don't know how to speak well, but the grammatical errors sometimes interfered with my reading as I couldn't help but notice them. I recommend this book to people who like to read historical fiction, historical romance, and books on pirates. As for the cover, it was designed to attract a readers attention and give an idea of what the book is about.

I enjoyed this book, particularly how the author immediately drops us into the action in the first chapter. I also liked that Brandy had to overcome her anger--though she is a princess, she's definitely not a damsel in distress. I think that this book could've used a bit more editing, particularly in the later chapters, so I would rate this one 3 out of 4 stars. But, it is one that I would recommend.

Baldwin's Ballad of a Pirate Princess is an excellent historical novel about pirates, sea captains, corruption, and enslavement. Brandy is a strong character for multiple reasons: she is fearless in the face of her opponents, she keeps her cool when fighting her opponents, and she does not let personal difficulties get in the way of her achievement. i rate it a 4 out of 4 stars.

This book is definitely worth a read. It has a very gripping storyline. The book follows the life of Brandy who is a young female pirate. The author's writing style, especially where the pirates are concerned, is very fitting and adds authenticity to the book. What I like most about the book is the vivid description of the scenes in the sea. I would recommend this book to readers who like historical fiction books about pirates mixed with romance. The book is professionally edited. I give the book a 4 out of 4 stars rating.

I loved this book. There are very few pirate novels out there and I could not wait to read this one when I saw it. This book was enjoyable and the writing style was very smooth and descriptive. There was a lot of suspense coupled with action. Out of all the characters I liked Brandy because she is fierce and strong.

The author's excellent writing skill is undeniable. I loved the fast-moving plot and the consistent characters. Lomore was both disgusting and intriguing to say the least. The editing was also top notch.

I'm a big fan of historical fiction, and I've had a soft spot in my heart for pirates since I was little. I enjoyed this read overall. Having a strong female protagonist who was able to stand her own and overcome fears and trials was great. I think the author did a good job at writing relatable and engaging characters and exploring some fascinating historical themes.
