I felt really sad when the mother was died. It reminded me of a very sad event.

For me, I think it is the scene where Brandy learns her uncle could possibly be her father. Even the slight possibility makes her happy because she considered her uncle to be a better father than her own. She respects her uncle and does everything she can to help him. It seems to me like she would prefer that to be the case. I am glad that she didn't become angry over a secret being kept for her. Instead, she viewed it in a better way.

I felt the shiver, and I was touched by the revelation of the relationship between Skinner and Brandy. It was too valuable for me, and I wasn’t honestly anticipating that. I realized that Skinner was indeed so protective of Brandy because of this.

It had to be when Kat sacrificed herself for the safety of her daughter. The description of that scene really brought tears to my eyes.

I side with you on this one. That portrayal of a mother's love touched the core of my heart.
I couldn't hold my tears at that point

I would say Eric's death was amongst the most emotional moments for me. Also, the mothers death really got me emotional. Brilliant book, I must say.

Gruesome murders always have a way of drawing tears from my eyes and the way Eric was killed definitely made me emotional. I almost had to close the book at one point.

I was touched by the way Davonte's adoptive parents, Ben and Elisa, were understanding and supportive when Davonte found out that Captain Joshua was her real father. They stood by her and celebrated her good fortune with her.

This book reminds me of something I've always said: Life isn't made up of years, months, or days. It's made up of moments, every one precious, every one memorable. Each moment in this book had me waiting for the next.

Most touching moment for me was Eric’s death, seconded by Kat's death.

The scene that made me the most emotional was how Brady's mother was killed in front of her and how she sacrificed herself to save her child. A close second was the betrayal and the way Eric died. I love my parents, so these scenes were very heartwrenching to read. I believe, similarly to Brandy, I would have changed from this point as it would have affected me very deeply.

After the death of Brandy’s parents, she did all her best to retribute and her initiation touched me. It’s something that made this book powerful. Hence, good revenge is one lesson that we can get from this book.

Having a mother, I can't relate with how Brandy must have felt watching her mother be killed right in front of her, but thanks to Dan, I was able to picture it vividly; and I thought of my mother and all her love for me, and then losing her. My heart literally broke into a million pieces. This was, by far, the most emotional moment in the entire book.
