Brandy, Ballad of a Pirate Princess, is an interesting and captivating story. The book kept me at the edge of my seat that I didn't know when I got to the last page. Brandy is a strong female character. I admire her bravery in facing her enemies. The author did an excellent job in the character development of the book. There was nothing I dislike about the book. There was a perfect mix of adventure and romance. I love the fact that the book was suspense-filled. The author's creativity made the story seem like a reality. The book deserves a perfect rating of 4/4. I enjoyed the book. I would recommend it to lovers of adventure, romance and historical fiction.

I was captivated from the first page till the last. I have an addiction to all things pirate and fell in love with Brandy and the rest of the characters. The action didn't disappoint and I enjoyed the romance too. I can't see how the book deserves anything less than a 4-star rating.

The book has quite a nice narration. The plot is also unique. The conflict with pirate ownership and all the previous reasons would be enough to give the book a perfect 4 out of 4.

I have recently finished reading this book and I have to say that I did not expect it to be this good. For me, it's a true pirate novel, one of the best ones I have read in the genre. The plot and writing style is up to the mark and the storyline is something everyone should read! It's a good book that can be read again and again and I think that's the best part because we as readers want these kinds of books that can be read time and again.

I enjoyed the way the book was detailed. Reading it was fun for me. It was easy to read and enjoyable. I admire the characters in the book. The character I admire the most is Brady. I admire her strength and courage in the face of fear. I like it when female characters play roles that are untypical of the assumed nature of women, like being weak, soft, and fearful. Even though the book is a fictional story, we can still relate some of the issues discussed to life's realities. I am pleased to rate it 4 out of 4 stars.

The story line was relatively unique in its own way. Having a female lead protagonist for a historical fiction is terrific. I think Dan outdid himself with the development of his characters. The narrative technique was engaging. All of this made me give it a perfect rating of a four out of four stars.

The book is an interesting read, especially for readers interested in stories of pirates, the sea, adventure, and love. Revolving around Brandy, who was born aboard a pirate ship to some pirates, the author Brandy takes us through an action-filled story, as she manages to escape to a life of normalcy but her origin never really leaves her. I loved how the author gave a soul to every character. Furthermore, the plot was just as complicated as a real pirate story should be. Despite the numerous conspiracies this story included, the author successfully tied everything together before the end and offered a satisfactory closure. I rate the book three out of four stars.

This book is so beautifully written! I love the character of Brandy. The broken English of the pirates is perfect as per the theme of the story. The writing style is good, packed with adventure, love, and action. Brandy taught me to never give up. The book also addresses slave trading, which stands it apart. Great book with a great female lead! This book deserves a 4 out of 4 stars.

I'm not even that much of a fan of historical fiction novel, but this was had me spellbound in just the first few pages I opened. Maybe it was because of the action packedness of the book, or just how entertaining the the chronicles of a pirate princess' life is but I found myself thrilled and satisfied by the whole events, even if at times the book was a bit predictable. I'll give this book a solid 4 out of 4 stars.

Brandy, Ballad of a Pirate Princess is a historical fiction story about the life of a young pirate. Brady must rewrite her life in the aftermath of her parent's deaths. The author is a terrific writer who understands how to construct an engaging narrative. His attention to detail is superb. It's a pleasure to read his outstanding command of the English language. I'd give it three stars out of four. Excellent work!

The historical novel had very interesting themes. Slavery, pirates and dishonesty. I loved how unique the author's writing style was and I found the story very intriguing. I did not dislike anything remarkable about the book. It was a great deal of help that the author had made powerful descriptions in the book.

I loved this book. it was one pirate novel like none other I had read before. It had themes of corruption, slavery etc. What Kat did for her daughter is not a common thing we see in our world today. Kudos to Dan E. Hendrickson.
