All Doctors scare the crap out of me ( ANY day, week or month )

As do HOSPITALS, where annually 100,000 ppl die needlessly because of human error....they say " if you're sick the very worst place to be is in a hospital "

Prescription drugs kill thousands a year....

You're lucky B.H., one of the " best kept secrets " is the superiority of the Medical system in Mexico especially the CARING docs....

True, Suzy. From all that Ive heard from people who have dealt with the Mexican medical system, they have nothing but praise for it. I just saw on Mexican Yahoo that eating peanuts reduce the chances of cancer, and keep cholesterol down.

In Ti Juana there is a cancer clinic considered to be one of the best in the world. They stress diet, fruits and veg and dont do radiation, that just makes it worse. I know that from experience, I lost my second wife to cancer, they gave her radiation and as soon as they started the treatments she got suddenly worse and died within a month.

Cancer is a big money business for the drug companies, they dont want a cure found, think of all the money they would lose. Bastards.

yup, you got it...all very true...if i ever got that sick, NO CHEMO or RADIATION...

I'd hop the first plane down to Mexico to The Gerson Clinic.....( the tv show 60 minutes did a whole story on them )

unfortunately some of those places prey on the pobrecitos, desperate gente....real Charlatans...

the trick would be to find the " legit " ones...

so sorry about your wife...i dunno how those ppl sleep at night...

If you ever find a free cure for cancer, Big Pharma will spend a fortune to silence you. They will hire a regiment of cynical doctors to "debunk" your cure. And they will hire Private Detectives to discover any dirt about you, and to label you as crooked or insane.

Oh, you are so innocent! They just forget about unimportant things (like other people who they don't know.) Then they have sweet dreams about nice things (like all the profits that they are making!)

I bet if those drug co. a-holes had cancer, they would be the first to go for an alternate cure. They sure as hell wouldnt take their useless drugs and worthless radiation and chemo. They know better than that.

I am always scared of sharks when I am surfing. It is always in the back of your mind.

I guess Australia is famous for shark attacks. That would scare me, too.

Oy that I saw Jaws when it came out in the 70's and that did it for me...I do not do more than wade in the surf...suppose I'll get nipped by a land shark, just my luck

Another movie in that genre was "Orca". Does anyone else still have nightmares about that leg? Like forty years on I still remember that scene. There was also a book published not too long ago called " Death at SeaWorld"...it explores in great depth [pun intended] several fatal attacks and the wisdom of entertainment vs education vs perceived conservation of a sort...when it all boils down to a corporation making big bucks from a tourist attraction...seems to completely miss the point that they're called Killer Whales for a reason...

I remember Orca. The leg part was disturbing. Wasnt someone killed by a killer whale a while back at Sea World or one of those places? There was another movie called Day of the Shark or something like that with Brian Dennehy about the U.S.S. Indianappolis when it was torpedoed by a Japanese sub, and the survivors floated around for days until they were rescued. A lot of them were attacked by sharks and killed. Those big vicious animals are nothing to fool around with.

They say that dolphins aren't the happy critters they're made out to be either...but when you read the background of SeaWorld...am I the only one who finds the idea of training a whale...to do tricks...like a dog...utterly appalling? The accidents have occurred when the handlers were in or near the tank and the whale decided to pull them under, bang them against walls and the tank bottom until they died. Then they blame the whale...it's a wild fricken animal, not a retriever...
