Saying that we should have a positive outlook on life no matter the overwhelming negative around us is something I really agree with. Because how will one explain how benevolent a life is for a twelve-year-old kidney patient?Flourish_2022 wrote: ↑19 May 2022, 07:01 Life is a function of the mindset. What I believe is that life is nothing more than a state of being. Being alive means you have life and how good or bad your life is, is dependent on your actions and your ability to either seize opportunities or able to determine those that are short term benefits from those that are truly long term.

I agree and disagree with this. I agree that life is a function of mindset; a positive outlook on the negative will make it less overwhelming, without a doubt. However, holding a positive outlook, which disregards the negative is toxic. Both the positive and negative should be acknowledged, and given the proper respect. To do otherwise, I believe, is to ignore the powerful lessons that negative experiences teach us.owobanji wrote: ↑06 Jun 2022, 16:31Saying that we should have a positive outlook on life no matter the overwhelming negative around us is something I really agree with.
