I am also an introvert who has never been interested in poetry mostly because I find it difficult to understand it, but with this review, I think I should consider giving poetry a chance and I'll definitely start with this book judging on some of the topics listed like war, God, ego, animal cruelty and so on :tiphat:

I am really not a fan of poetry. However, I see this one comes loaded with collections bearing different perspectives. Your review is fantastic; kudos.

I love poetry. I even used to write poetry back when I was a teenager. Coming across new poetry is always a joy for me. My husband is a huge fan of Poe, so I will be introducing this book to him as well (he loves poetry). Very excited to read this book.

Your personal introduction got me at "introvert". The poetry sounds very personal. Thanks for encouraging me to get this book.

I enjoyed your review. Poetry is a genre that I love. In my line of work, I have to analyze many poems. The poet covers an excellent, wide array of topics. Congrats on BOTD.

:techie-studyingbrown: The author touched on both personal issues and societal issues; this was my favorite aspect of this book. I have no negative comments about this book. For all these above reasons, I will rate this book four out of four stars.

Beautiful review. I do enjoy introspective writing, and the fact that this book seems to cover a wide range of topics makes it all that more compelling. I have not given poetry much of a chance since my school days. This book makes me want to get back into it. Kudos to the author on such outstanding work.

Though I can tolerate some poetry, I'm not interested in social, political, or societal stances in most genres, and particularly not in poetry. I do feel that those who appreciate that type of commentary will enjoy this book. Thank you for a great review!
