The greatest lesson I learned is that retirement is simply not a bed of roses. The mere fact that you could be saving towards retirement and still experience hardships when it comes is a bit shocking.

What I learned regarding retirement is that it's something you take out time to plan toward and it's not just about planning, one also has to work on it.

I think I learnt that it is essential to plan for one's retirement period so as not to suffer. At the same time, retirement time isn't the end of the world as one can still enjoy and have a wonderful time post retirement.

The take-home lesson for me is that when one doesn't plan his retirement, he could be overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty.

The lesson that having fun pretty much has no age limit is important. Once we enter the job market, a lot of focus goes towards careers and we neglect personal fulfillment. So this is a good reminder to always try and enjoy your days as best as possible.

I'm glad this book spoke on the importance of having a plan for one's life. Readers have a lot of life lessons to learn from its pages.
I also tend plan out things before I attempt them, but I think a bit of spontaneity won't hurt that much every now and then.

The greatest lesson I have learnt is that we should enjoy life before we reach the time to retire.

Since I was a kid, growing older always scared me; being senile and dependent on others and having to retire… but this book taught me that retiring and getting older is not the end of the journey, but merely the beginning of a new chapter! I really enjoyed learning about how fun and easy the process can be, and all the ways you can take charge of your own future moving forward!

The lesson I learnt is to definitely plan ahead. Life of a retired person is expensive, especially now because inflation is going crazy. So it's definitely important to plan your retirement correctly and thoroughly.

I learned alot from the book but I will just mention a few, one of the lessons is to plan and make appropriate provisions for your retirement age, two, old people also have fun even at their old age, three, you can still be useful in your retired age, retirement does not make you useless.

I learned that Saving for retirement is non-debatable. We should ensure to set aside money we make in our working years so that life after retirement is not a rocky one.

I learned that there are various ways to have a retirement income besides social security or 401k/pension. I liked learning the different kinds of bonds and trusts too!

I do believe the lesson to be learned is that one should plan towards their retirement and actually work towards it and besides that, it's not something you'll rely on completely

All work and no play they say makes Jack a dull boy. I learned from this book that while planning for retirement is essential, I shouldn't forget to have fun while I can.
