Thanks for your review. It seems the author is giving us a look at the mundane world through Owen's eyes and life.

The name of the book is so different and catchy. I wonder how Owen was able to combine his hobbies and career. Thanks for a great review.

This sounds like an interesting book, to an extent. I don't like anything that is dry or slow-paced, but I will definitely give it a try. Thank you for a great review!

The author does have a unique way of naming his side characters. My first thought when I read the name "Tina Gardenia" was that it was ridiculous and silly.

The events in the story seem to be quite realistic, relatable scenarios. One wonders whether the unique names aptly depict the characters. I think I'll travel with Owen to feed my curiosity. Thanks for your honest insights.

It seems like a nostalgic story from the 70s and looks into romance from a male standpoint. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

It sounds like this is a story of discovery and that Owen's move to a small town is a catalyst for him to discover all sorts of things in his life.

The characterization of Owen Cloud as the protagonist of this story seems in splendid form, and the story seems to have intriguing aspects quite relevant to real life.

I love fictional stories that are relatable. It gives you this assurance that whatever that's happening to you isn't absurd. It helps you mirror life and sometimes even provides you with answers. Congratulations on BOTD!

Nice review. It seemed, however, to contradict my thoughts with its original synopsis. The title of the book is catchy and original. Seems like a sweet romantic fiction to be read under the shade of a tree.

Sip Lake by Joe Basara sounds like a fun work of fiction novel. Seeing how Owen so easily adapted to the environment in which he lived made me quite envious as a loner being. But following this review, I began to be curious about the story of Owen's next journey, will he find his goals?. I think I'll include it in my next reading. Thanks for your review.

I don't like character driven stories because sometimes it is hard to keep up or remember names. It makes the reading experience complex. Nevertheless it sounds like a lovely story worth a try. Great review.
