Themes in the book

For me the main themes were: corruption, education,racism and politics. Political powers are meant to protect students but once corruption roots itself in the system,it is the citizens who suffer. The education system teaches that the right thing is what should be done but that is not how the world works due to corruption.
The issue of police brutality is also articulated through characters such as Rizzo. He's a sexist, an abuser, a racist and inhumane in general. This is something so real in the world we live in today.

Common themes throughout the book are war, police brutality, women's right and racism. I can relate to racism as I have dealt with this problem since I was small, being of African descent and growing up among persons of other races that are considered of greater value to this society.

The book demonstrates different themes as it captures an important era in the American culture. Themes like corruption, brutality, love and women rights are clearly demonstrated.

It does have a wide scope of themes. And I think the major theme is Power; in the sense that those with power ride on those without it.

So true! Are you a Nigerian? Because I am one and that is exactly what we face with the police here. Even harassment of peaceful protesters, just as it played out in this book.

Themes of Corruption, war, and Police brutality stood out well for me, amongst many others. I'm still reading this book, but a lot has happened already. When corruption eats into an organization up to the highest rank, it is usually difficult to get it cleaned up.

Of all the themes that I noticed, racism and police brutality, but especially women's rights themes, had a strong impact on me. Fortunately, I can say that I did not encounter any situations where I could relate to those. But still, you don't need to experience something so that you know that thing is wrong.

Of so many themes in the book, the most interesting is the theme centered on violence among youth, love, betrayal, war display rumination, women's rights, racism policies brutality and determination.

"Wild World" has so much facts that are actually happening right now it is so amazing, Peter S. Rush showing the reality of the world we are living in, I enjoyed writing my first book.

The theme that was so easy to relate to for me was the abuse of power, by the police in particular. This abuse of power led to the corruption and police brutality seen; because they felt they were above everyone else and could do as they chose with no repercussions. Even in our society today, sadly, we see this abuse of power taking place.

This narrative contains various themes such as war, corruption, politics, brutality, racism, love, romance, and many more. The balance of all of these issues is what drew me to this novel. The incidents that depict these concepts were also brilliantly written.

It definitely has to be police brutality. They were so inhumane to innocent protesters and that part of the book made me really angry because I've experienced such in the past.
