Of course entrepreneurs should also think about it. I know it can be more difficult, but in the end time wins us all. There has to be a way that we can all have some benefits in our last journey of life. The problem is that I know that there are not many options and the job options are getting more and more complicated.

I guess it depends on a lot of factors. If you have the money to retire, then find a hobby to keep you busy. Otherwise, if you enjoy work and find meaning in it, keep going!

Concept-wise, no. Labour can be needed in different ways, and service is provided in different forms. Honestly, we labor every day till we die. So while an entrepreneur can take a break from demanding tasks that can be strenuous, he can always engage in more pleasurable endeavours. This will allow him enjoyment, fulfillment, rest, and cash if it can.

Yes, absolutely. Retirement is not geared towards 9 to 5 workers, it's for everybody. As long as a person is part of the labour force. He or she reserves the right to retire whenever they wish.

Yes they can retire just like every other worker. Their retirement should be part of their business plan. They would just have to plan strategically for it. Frankly, no one can work forever. After building the business or brand, the entrepreneur will eventually have to pass the business to someone younger and trained to fill the position. If they don't plan retirement properly, they could fall critically ill or die even before the business reaches maturity. No one can really work for too long.

Of course they should! Once they have accumulated their target wealth for retirement, nothing should stop them other than the sheer will to work. Entrepreneurs mostly enjoy what they do, hence maybe we don’t see many retired entrepreneurs because let’s face it, keeping ourselves busy in work is a form of stability that we don’t wish to give up easily especially if we love what we do.

I definitely think entrepreneurs should be able to retire, but they will need to set themselves up throughout their careers like many employees do with retirement plans through their employer. Anyone who dedicates their life to work 100% deserves to enjoy retirement, no matter who they work for!

Yeah! Even self-employed will retire someday. But there's a thing I notice that they do after retiring, they hold classes to share their experiences and ideas with upcoming youngsters. They still retire all the same when there's no more strength to run around.

Just as employees retire, self employed people should retire too. There's no joy in working throughout one's lifetime. Even if you have passion for the work, the body grows weary. What I feel the self employed should add to their retirement plan is a trustworthy person that they can hand over to.

Entrepreneurs should also retire when its time. It doesn't mean that the business should come to a stop but the active running of the business by them should reduce.

Definitely entrepreneurs should also retire. Of course there's no right or wrong answer but sustainability should be a big part of a business plan. The business should be able to exist outside of the founder allowing the entrepreneur to shed off as much responsibility as they want when they're ready to retire.

Yes, I think those who work for themselves should be able to profit from retirement. The problem is entrepreneurs who wish to retire need to plan more carefully and prepare ahead. Some even start preparations years in advance.

I think entrepreneurs should retire a when due and should handover their business to their families or trusted workers but they should have a retirement plan to ensure provision of things they need after they retire.

It would be thought that because someone is self-employed, they can't or shouldn't retire. But I think they should retire because no one can work forever. They'll get old and tired someday. Hence they ought to retire but they can still offer advice to the business from their experience.

If you're so in love with what you do and choose to continue, there's sure nothing bad with that. So it's more on the path of personal preference.
