The last vacation I took was in Branson, Missouri with my parents in July 2011. It became a tradition for us to visit every so often. We've been going there since I was three. This year, we'll be leaving again in August. We booked a new condo for us to stay in because our previous one was really dirty and had spiders and ants coming in. I'm excited about going again, so I can see some new shows :D. The only thing we hate about Branson is the humidity... It feels like a hot tub minus the water :P

Haven't traveled in about 7 yrs...last trip was to " colonial " Mexico to Lake Chapala, near Guadalahara...

Unfortunately there was no lake, it had dried up...in the end i still prefer the coastal/ beach areas to inland..

Last vacation I took from work was in the late 90's. Didnt go anywhere, did repairs on and painted the house. One day we took a trip to The Big Rock Candy Mountain in Central Utah.

Last summer to the Jersey Shore for a wedding and Seaside on the way home. Have great pics of everyone enjoying the beach and boardwalk. Then everyone went out for Thai after that. Memorable weekend and we were blessed to get there when we did...some months later Hurricane Sandy took out the whole Steel Pier. They say they'll have it rebuilt by next year.

Went to Toronto in May, lovely place and Canadians are very friendly. Niagra Falls i found a bit over rated, nice but not stunning. The place has been turned into a kind of Blackpool theme park which cheapens the look.

Thats like the Grand Canyon. I wasnt that impressed with it, to me it was just a big hole in the ground. Bryce and Zion's canyons have a lot more color and interesting rock formations.

We went to Mackinaw City, over the bridge and through the locks at Sault St Marie, very educational, over to a park that had some nice waterfalls and 188 steps oh my goodness and over to Mackinac Island around that on bicycles, I was ready to come home after my big rest!!!!! We did have the whitefish, which was very good, and fudge of course.
We also went to the Detroit Zoo.

Spent this past long weekend in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (Amish country). Also went to Hershey Park amusement park (awesome roller coasters!). Relaxing and fun getaway with the family! I have to "getaway" every 2-3 months or so - even if just an overnight stay.....keeps the sanity!

Last proper one was to Rome last year. We visited the Colesseum and Vatican City. Rome was a little different than I expected, though - a lot of graffiti!
