Wild World featured a lot of themes. However, I think the most common themes were police brutality, women's rights, discrimination and racism.

The Wild World covers a range of themes like police brutality, love, determination, riot, and discrimination, among others. The one I relate with most is police brutality because it addresses issues many are facing from police officers.

I spoke with a man recently who has had the police called on him several times as he is a bit of a loner and a wanderer. He evidently looks suspicious to people when he hangs out at the river skipping stones. He is not trespassing, but still the police show up and say they got a call about a suspicious person. It made me realize that I, a white woman, have never had the police called on me, and thought about how scary it must be for black people or poor people who get the police called just because of how they look. Unfortunately, some of this ends up with violence, whether started by the person upset the police were called or by the unfortunately 'prone to violence' cop, and furthering instances of police brutality, one of the themes in Wild World.

There’s police brutality which was portrayed strongly. There’s also discrimination, war, love and determination.

The book touched on a lot of topics including police brutality, racism, corruption, and women's rights. I personally liked how it showed the detriments of being a cop and how difficult it is to stand for your principles, especially in a corrupt environment.

Misogyny, mass violence (particularly perpetrated by those in positions of authority), and (obviously) the contrast between war and peace were, in my opinion, the three main themes.

Police brutality and racism are two major themes in the story. Infact, there are the themes that I saw constantly.

I noticed three themes in the book; corruption, racism, and police brutality. We see these play out every day on our tvs, radios, and in our lives.

I noticed the themes of heartbreak, war, corruption, betrayal, racism, and police brutality. How could I relate to them? Simple. We see that everyday in our lives or in the lives of the people we love. None of those are nice, but they are our reality.

The major theme would be police corruption, but the underlying themes were women's rights and how victims of rape and domestic abuse were seen as culpable. The double standard of those in power who are supposed to protect was also present.
