I can't tell. I will say, both if they made decisions together and cooperatively.

When one considers keenly the motivation for most of his actions indeed it is not unfounded to suspect his a lot of his actions are motivated by a desire to please her.

I feel like Roxy was a huge factor that influenced most of Steve's decisions because he always seemed to plan his life around her. Toxic or not, it's still true.

I don´t like Roxy or the relationship they had. I think they both had many things to figure out by themselves before being in a committed relationship with anybody.
But when it comes to Steve´s decision of changing career paths, I don´t think she had anything to do with it. Steve made that call.

Roxy was controlling most of his decisions directly or indirectly. In fact, I think he wasn't capable of making a single decision..

I think Roxy opened his eyes originally towards the war, activism, how it impacted others and that expanded Steve's own believe that change should happen and that he wants to be part of the change. Being near Roxy if he became an officer definitely had an impact on his final decision, but I believe in the end it was his choice to stay and make it work in the force, even when it affected his relationship with Roxy and his friends, and it was very challenging to continue on the path he set for himself.

I think Roxy played an integral part in Steve's decisions. I also agree that Steve won't enlist if Roxy told him not to. But I don't think it's because Roxy have total control of Steve, it's more like that Steve consider Roxy as his life's partner so that every big decision he made have to go through her approval first.

I think Steve is making his own decisions but is influenced by Roxy because Steve didn't want anything to do with fighting the system but after seeing Roxy doing it he followed to impress her.

I think Steve made some decisions because of Roxy, but in the end, it is always him who decides what to do. I consider him responsibile for his own choices, although his girlfriend is always on his mind.

Steve is making his decisions but somewhere or the other Roxy is not able to cope with his decisions. He joined the forces to make a difference in the place. He wants that police should be perceived as the protector of the society not the one that is taking advantage and harassing the society.

I believe that he's talking about his own decisions. In my opinion, the fact that he's prioritizing their relationship and her it doesn't imply that he's not taking his own decisions. And yes, Roxy is the one introducing him to the world of revendicating but I believe that he gains his wish to do things with his own hands, especially after he joined the police. What do you think?

I think a lot of Steve's decisions revolved around Roxy. Initially, he wasn't truly socially aware. It was more about pleasing Roxy and doing what he felt she expected of him by trying to change the system.

In the end, I think it was less about Roxy and more about him. He had experienced enough of the system to make decisions based on his own experience rather than Roxy's ideals. Generally though, I think he was heavily influenced by Roxy.

I guess it was because he was socially aware. I think he is someone who discovers his society is ill and needs reforming as soon as possible.

Steve chose to stay in Providence because he didn't want to leave Roxy behind when going to law school. So technically, Roxy did bully him into staying for her. And she didn't even appreciate it and decided to turn against him instead. While everything Steve did he did for Roxy.
