Yes, I agree with you, but that's the interesting thing about their relationship, in my opinion. Also, it makes them more realistic as characters the fact that they have weak spots, or that they want to "manipulate" others.

In a way, yes, but also in a way, no. I guess he chose it because of Roxy, people would say that it's not his choice. But for me, he chose to keep Roxy, so indirectly, it was also his own choice to join the police department.

No, he was being controlled by his girlfriend Roxy.

I believe a lot of this book is Steve finding his own path. Roxy was his compass from the beginning, but as he got deeper into his discovery, he started to find his own path.
There were times I wished someone would punch Roxy in the throat, but that’s just my opinion. I’d be proud of Steve’s accomplishments in this story.

I agree with you. I didn't read about any decision that Steve made for himself. His decisions were being influenced by Roxy most.

I feel that initially Steve made his decisions based on his Roxy's ideals and his feelings for her but in the end he stood his ground and began thinking for himself.

To some extent I think his love for Roxy influenced his decisions due to the impulsion to be near her.

I think he did, but there's definitely a lot of decisions that were controlled or at least influenced by Roxy. Considering their relationship dynamics, I imagine it would generally be very difficult to separate his decisions from her thoughts.

Though Steve made a decision to put Roxy first so everything he did was centered on her and how she'll feel about it, I think the decision to join and stay in the force was totally his and his quest to make a change.

I think throughout the book, he only wanted to please Roxy.

Based on my observations, Steve was making the decisions, but Roxy was the Mastermind.

Steve wasn't making his decision all alone, he usually include Roxy in all his decision and this has really helped

I think most of his actions was borne out of the desire to please Roxy. But again, I have a sense of feeling that this is a normal thing a man would do for a lady he loved. He took those decisions just to be very closed with her and be able to stay together.

When you read this book keenly, you'll realize that Roxy is the one who controlled controlled the decisions made by Steve.

That was just what stave was .he never believed in himself. Roxy was his alfa and omega. for instance, when Roxy's mother discovered they slept on her bed, I expected Steve to stand and defend himself even if he was going to lie to cover up. but he never did, instead, it was Roxy who dictated their decision. I think Steve was just like her errand boy. which is too bad.
