I feel this is a very important question. What if? there are thousands of possibility. However, it is highly recommended that one takes the leap. One might not get second chance to rethrow the dice.

I don't think one needs to be a believer for God to perform a miracle for them. I think HE focuses more on the contents of our hearts and our intentions.Cristina Corui Mihailescu wrote: ↑05 Sep 2022, 08:50 I am neither a believer nor a non-believer, I cannot go to church but I am sure there is a God that watches over us. Sometimes HE thinks someone is worthy of being saved and he performs a miracle. But I do think that you need to be a real believer in order to be worthy...As I am approaching old age, I want to believe, but I grew up as an atheist and it is difficult to get into the routine of praying. To get to the point, I am sure the author deserved a miracle.

I feel the same way as you do. If my faith or ideas around faith can be easily changed by a book, then were they real enough to begin with.
