I think mine was Gone with the Wind at 960 pages.

I'm not actually sure which is the longest, but I have read several in the 1000 pages or so range. Pillars of the Earth, World Without End, Ladies of the Club, The Far Pavilions, etc. I quite like long books as they stretch the pleasure of the story out even further.
You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.

The fifth Harry Potter book. I've got some longer ones waiting to be read but so far that's been the longest one.

The Lord of the Rings. Even though it's 3 separate books, the page numbers continue from the first through the last. It was about 1500 pages!

Yeah if the lord of the rings omnibus counts as one book, then that's the longest I've read. Otherwise, Storm of Swords by R.R. Martin.

Either a book in the Outlander series, by Diana Gabaldon, or a book in the Song of Fire and Ice series, by George R.R. Martin. I'd have to go home and check the page counts to see which one was the longest, but I know several of them go over 1000 pages. I think big books are the best! I hate when a good story ends!

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand at 1168 pages. It is Ayn Rand's longest novel.

I've read both LOTR and Atlas Shrugged - nearly went blind with Atlas the print was that tiny. Never really remarked how many pages in any book, it's never been an issue for me either way.
