A couple of years ago, I read The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho. I liked it so much. I don't ususally read such books. But, at that moment, I liked it so much that I went ahead and bought all books by the author. Today, they are collecting dust in my library. I can't read them.
But, crime and romance, I can pick them up any day.

Wow! I didn't know that could happen with books!aparajita ghosh wrote:This is so difficult to pin down. It actually depends on the mood. I may read a book one day and if I like the style of writing or the genre by the author, I would continue to read other such books till I get bored.

Same here. I need that uplifting, cutesy aspect that romance brings to books, otherwise I need to force myself along through a book. Lucky for me, most books have some romantic element included.tammy_waggoner31 wrote:Romance, I know its a cliche but I love romance. I read mystery, but there must be an element of romance. I read paranormal but romance must be present. I could go on and on but I'll read just about anything as long as there is a love story attached to it. I read lots of non fiction that doesn't need a romantic element but if I want to get lost in a book it must include a little romance.
