That certainly has more class then the grocery store receipt I use for a bookmark.

I used to make bookmarks to match the book when I was in high school, now I use post-its.

I personally love the book thong! It stays put as long as you put it in correctly which is very important to me because I can never find my place again. Currently I am using a regular type, the one my daughter made me out of duct tape because if I didn't I would be in trouble.

I actually made my own bookmark. The one I was using was torn and bent. (It got a lot of use :? ). The one I have now, which I made, is just some doodling I did on a folded sheet of printer paper. It's a tribal theme.

I used to bookmark using the odd scraps lying around, sometimes even the utility bills. But now I have started picking up bookmarks when I visit the bookshop.

I have a pewter frog bookmark I use for my paperbacks.
If I didn't write, I'd never sleep.

I had never thought of a paperclip. They have always been a nuisance for me... Maybe I just found something useful for them!

I usually will use anything I can find. I don't particularly think it's necessary to spend money on a piece of paper to hold my place. I will use receipts or pictures that I find. Right now my bookmark is a picture of my aunt and I that passed away, every time I open the book I see her face and it make me happy.

I never use book marks, i just open it to the place I left off, it's actually kind of creepy because I usually open it directly to the right page. :|

I use a bookmark I made (just doodles on a paper), bookmarks my kids have made for me, a bookmark that was my grandma's before she died, or any scrap of paper I can find if those are unavailable. But my favorite was a string that had beads and a charm at the ends. I think it was called a book thong.
