This is an exciting novel. From the summary, I could feel the action and the suspense. Catrin has a huge responsibility on her soldier and I hope things will fall better for her and Marcellus, the Roman.

The cover of Skull's Vengeance is powerful and attractive. And, author Linnea Tanner has masterfully blended the recorded history of Britannia and Rome with magic and lore to create a stunning piece of historical fiction literature.

This sounds like an interesting historical fiction combo, dark magic and throne wars. I'll give this book a try.

This sounds like black magic and the book seems suspenseful. Filled with romance, war, action, it really got me. I would like to find out more about the outcome, nice review.

The information about the characters and plot is overwhelming for me, so I'd rather read the first book to slow down. Politics and romance some of the major themes that I avoid reading. Thus, I might skip this book. This is best for readers who love epic stories. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I very much enjoy the review, it describes the plot amazingly and exactly as I have read the sample of the book. Striving for the throne and the druid powers, between Marrock and his half sister Catrin we shall see who triumphs.

This seems like a great fantasy book. I like that the story weaves in Celtic and Roman mythology. The story has quite a bit of dark elements like child molestation and slave trade. But I think that this is a good book nonetheless. Congratulations on making book of the day!

This is a great romance novel with a forbidden love theme. It appears that for Catrin and Marcellus' relationship to flourish, they must overcome numerous challenges. She must primarily figure out how to remove her half-brother, the terrible King Marrock. The fictional mingling of historical occurrences presented in a love narrative intrigues me. kudos on BOTD.
