I'd loove to read a book relating to vengence. It's also a thriller. Marrock is a character that interests me. The curse by marrock's mother seems strong. Dark magic is something that, well written by the author, brings about an interesting story. Congratulations on BOTD.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to read the first three books in this series. But, according to the review, there were recaps of the previous series so anyone can still understand the entire storyline. Very insightful review.

It's good to know there is a sequel to the Apollo's Raven novel which I read sometime back. I would like to read and find out what my favorite character Catrina is up to as a princess. Thanks for the review.

:D Despite the fact that I haven't read any of the previous books, Catrin's story has dazzled me, therefore I'm thinking of reading the previous books, to be able to better understand the protagonist's story, despite the fact that it is a fictional mix of historical events recorded between ancient Britannia and Rome, makes it much more interesting, and the point of romance gives it a special touch :D

Today's book of the day is a historical fiction book about Britania and the Roman empire blended with fantasy and a love story. The plot is quite intriguing and the storyline is captivating. Congrats to the author on being the #BOTD.

:techie-studyinggray: Excellent review. The author did a creative blend of fictional writing and the historical records which made it an epic novel. Especially that horrible part as per the review that the king actually slaughter his father and his household to claim the throne for himself. & trapped their souls in their skulls, fortifying himself with dark Magic. A must read book especially for those who wants to read thrilled stories like this.

Traditional, and which is often superstitious, restrictions can be dangerously frustrating. This is the situation Catrina and Marcellus found themselves. I would like to know how the author resolved this crisis. It's great to know about some historical background in this novel, especially the mention of Cunobelin and the king of Catuvellauni.

This seems like a lovely fictional book. It’s engrossing and I’ll love to read it. Will this curse be broken? Or not? There are a lot of mysteries here.

I don't know enough about Celtic history but the mix of fictional and historical elements which includes black magic and druids sounds intriguing.

The blending of true historical facts with fictional events, sorcery, curses and romance must be really interesting. I like the plot with the central character being a strong female protagonist.

Ordinarily I'd have dismissed this book, particularly for the blend of romance and mysticism. But then I saw your emphasis on the fact that it includes some historical and political information on Brittania and Rome.
