My kids had a Guinea pig named Sam. They loved that song Sam Hall and they named it after that.

" Harry " was the name of our n.y. cat who resembled a stock broker...

He lived well on Crab, Steak, and Lobster that my husband / the chef fed him from leftovers at our restaurant...
