I have never heard of the character Job, or his story before in the Bible. Consider me intrigued by this unique perspective

It's so thoughtful of the author to have written about this wonderful character in the bible. Even though tied to a man with a strong faith, she couldn't measure up or rely on his faith. I'm fascinated with the story and I will like to add it to my TBR list. Nice review

A biblical story written from a romantic point of view of the man of God and his wife, makes a very interesting book to read. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

The author's beautiful prose was enchanting, and the book gave me a fresh perspective on the story of Job's wife. After reading the book, I feel ashamed of how harshly I judged her humane reaction to the loss and hardship she and her husband suffered.

Today's BOTD isn't for me, but fans of Christian fiction with elements of romance are in for a treat. In addition to the beautiful descriptions, readers will be swept away by the detailed events of this unique storyline. I'm really happy you enjoyed it so much and thank you for the helpful review. Keep up the great work! :-)

I am a big fan of romance novels and I love the story of Job in the Bible. Since little is told about Job's wife in the Bible I think it's interesting that a book was made in her perspective. Just from the little bit of the story that I read from the sample it seems like Job and Ix'ises had a very loving relationship their whole lives. However, difficult circumstances can affect even those madly in love.

As someone raised in Christianity, but have an on-and-off relationship with the Faith, I feel like I would be able to relate to Ix’ises perspectives and just knowing there is a novel based on her perspective has put this novel into my TBR pile

A fictional story surrounding the possible occurrences between Job and his wife. Today's writer writes from a heartwarming and thought-provoking perspective. But i doubt that today's BOTD is one i would like to pick up.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I have read and reviewed this book and like you I enjoyed it. It is one of my favorite books. I knew some of Job's story but never thought of it from his wife's point of view. Their love is so precious. Even though it is a fictional story, there is enough truth in it from the Bible, that all of it is believable. Thanks for letting me reminisce on this great book.

I have always believed that there are two sides to a story. Lot's wife have always been portrayed as faithless and bad. I would definitely read this book.

It is very easy to conclude someone's actions in a certain way simply because we haven't walked in their shoes. There is no one in his right mind, even devout Christians, who will not be tempted to use curse words against God and probably make irrational decisions in this scenario. Loosing all her children, whom she individually got pregnant with for nine whole months to some faith which she doesn't understand, without even sparing at least, the youngest? C'mon! Understanding Gods' ways with men takes a deep relationship with him. Certain things will always defy human reasoning. I will definitely read this book. Great review. Congratulations on BOTD.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out Job Ix’ises survive the seemingly insurmountable differences between them. Will they stay together or drift further apart? The conflict is relatable and interesting.

This book captures aptly what Job's wife, a very faceless biblical character, might have been.
It's a truly lovely book. Congratulations, BOTD.

Thanks for the enlightening review. Sampling this book, I liked the atmospheric and kind story of happy families who are friends no matter what religious tradition they followed. I hope the lamb will be found safe and sound.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting romance story set within the Biblical story of Job, but focusing on Job’s wife and the love they shared and her trying to understand is determined faith in God. It might be worth a second look. Well done.
