There are a lot of different versions.

Apparantly, Aladdin and Sinbad were only added later.

I read them but found them difficult to read. Some stories were much better than others.

I mean, if you’re looking for something that would provide you practically a little bit of everything, then you should definitely check it out. You’ll get adventure, you’ll get magic, you’ll get romance and so much more within the collection. You may even find yourself drawn to the historical and cultural contexts some of the stories offer. You should give it a try.

That may depend on which translation you were reading. Do you remember which it was ?
