I have two cats named Ginger and Blueberry. Ginger was named because she is all white and has a little orange tuft of fur on her head. Blueberry was an unwanted kitty from craigslist so she already had a name!

I also have two bearded dragons- one is named Salvador after Salvador Dali and the other is Penelope- no reason- just the first name that popped in my head!

I have a cat named Leish, no meaning behind the name.
A dog named Lucky. She was named Lucky because she is 'lucky to be alive' being rejected by her mother at birth and was going to be put down the day we took her in.
Another dog named Frodo because I told my dad he was too cute to name Gollum

My wife was a dog rescuer also. We were overloaded with them for a time. The dogs I used to have that came with this house, the previous tenants left them here were named Shorty, Nikita, Gabby, Q, Brown Dog and Digger. I still have Digger but Q and Gabby died, Shorty and Brown Dog ran off and Nikita I loaned to a friend to take to Ti Juana to breed with another pit bull. Havent seen her since. Probably just as well, I couldnt afford to feed that bunch anyway.

Wow, thats a lot of dogs and cats. The most we ever had was 6. I read something about Doris Day where she had something like 50 strays she picked up.
