Genesis 6 doesn't say. However, the Nephelim in Number 13:33, and giants elsewhere in the land, were enemies of Noah and Gods people. For example, Goliath, was a giant. Giants in the old testament, for which there are many if you read the old testament closely, were consistently depicted as enemies. In which case, it is unlikely that the Nephelim would have helped Noah. That said, the book of Genesis really doesn't give clarity on these topics and so it is debated what the original authors of ancient Isreal might have thought about such topics.bookreviewmi1111 wrote: ↑01 Jun 2020, 17:39 As I know, Noah built his ark to save his family and other animals from the Flood. This is actually mentioned in the Bible. But I have not heard about Nephilim helping something with it.
So, what do you think about Nephilim in this book? Did Nephilim actually do that in the Bible, or is this just the author's opinion?
As a geologist and christian, I also particularly enjoy books on science and faith.
