I prefer an actual book to an ebook, but if an ebook is my only option, I wouldn't use my phone. It's just too small.

Ive been reading some on my camera, its small and compact, about the size of a pack of cigarettes and works pretty good, but the batteries dont last for very long.

I don't read on a phone, but on my ipod instead. Don't get me wrong, I love physical copies of books. I love the smell of the pages and the sound of a page turning. I also love my Nook. The only problem I have found with reading a physical book is that sometimes the books I read were printed in very large and heavy copies, making carrying them around cumbersome. The problem with the Nook is that I can't download as many books as I want, which I do know is easy fixable and when I tried, I couldn't get it to work right. But I have yet to have a problem with my Ipod. I have over a hundred books on it, and I keep it in my pocket, ready to whip out at a moments notice... that is when my battery is charged.

This is the problem I run into all the time - I gravitate towards huge books, but always regret having to lug them about the place. If I had tried to read the Game of Thrones series in dead-tree format, I probably would have developed a permanent stoop :|

I read on my phone using the Kindle app, I don't do it often as it does use quite a bit of battery but it is a lot more convenient. I love being at work and being able to read a quick chapter or two whilst I'm on my break, especially if it's one of the books I can't put down! It's also easy being able to read without having to worry about keeping a light on/balanced on my kindle.

I love reading on my Kindle but no way would I countenance reading a book on my Smart phone - way too small screen for a long reading session IMO

I've read a couple of books on my phone, but only out of necessity. It's not my favourite reading method, though it definitely works in a pinch.

I prefer reading actual books then on my iPad. But if I'm bored out of the house without a book (which is rarely) then I will read on my phone.

I love reading actual books and ebooks and will bring both anywhere I go. Ebooks are easier and cheaper to obtain and I can easily read them using my tab, which I bring anywhere I go. It all depends on the situation. I still prefer actual books than ebooks but I don't completely shut off on ebooks either.

I don't mind it. For a while, I was reading only on my phone but eventually started switching back to real books. You just can't beat the feeling of turning the pages and the smell!

My phone is actually one thing that I'm pretty sure I would not enjoy reading on. I like e readers and stuff like that, but the phone screen is just too small for me to read on.

I have read books on my phone, kindle and computer. The only reason I dont read on my phone more often is because I like the feeling of a book in my hands. However, on my phone I use this app called aldiko book reader. (it's and android phone btw) It has this feature called night mode where the text turns white and the "paper" turns black. It's much easier on the eye in my opinion. I rather read that way then on my pc which after a while starts to hurt. I felt the screen was too small at first to but when I turn it landscape instead of portrait I hardly notice the size once I start to get into the book. ( I got through the whole Vladimir Todd series this way.)

I read a couple of books on my phone before I got a tablet, which I use for eBooks now (unless I'm out of the house without it, then I go back to the phone). I never really minded it, but it is inferior to my tablet in terms of screen size definitely. It's like a backup method if I have nothing else. Certainly better than nothing!

I was never super bothered by the screen size, it just means you'll have to flip the pages way more often xD

I love reading on my phone! I use the kindle app as well. I didn't start doing it until recently, because I assumed that the text would be too small & difficult to read. Surprisingly, it wasn't bad at all! I actually found it nice to not have to move my eyes left and right too much (that's true laziness) since the screen width is so narrow.
